Ugly Third Quarter Dooms Cavs

The Cavaliers were outscored 39-22 in the third quarter of a 120-112 loss to the Dallas Mavericks at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

Cleveland led by eight in the second half before trailing by as many as 15 in the fourth quarter.

Caris LeVert poured in 32 points in the losing effort, while Darius Garland chipped in with 25 points and ten assists.

Cleveland drops to 42-and-34 with the loss, and they visit the Hawks tonight.

In other news, the team announced rookie forward Evan Mobley will miss at least three games with a left ankle sprain he suffered on Monday against Orlando.
