Production Of “Stranger Things” Season Five Halted Due To Writers’ Strike

On Saturday, the hit Netflix show “Stranger Things” became a casualty of the writers’ strike.

On Twitter, Matt and Ross Duffer confirmed the news that production of the show’s fifth season would be put on hold until the strike issues are resolved amicably.

The tweet says, “Writing does not stop when filming begins.

While we’re excited to start production with our amazing cast and crew, it is not possible during this strike. We hope a fair deal is reached soon so we can all get back to work.

Until then -- over and out.” Hopefully, it all gets resolved sooner rather than later, and without the creative expertise of Artificial Intelligence-based writing programs.
