Tampa Mayor Finds 70 Pounds Of Cocaine On Fishing Trip

The Mayor of Tampa, Florida was out with her family on a fishing trip when she made an unsavory discovery.

While out of the Middle Keys City of Marathon, Mayor Jane Castor, her brother, her son, and his girlfriend spotted 70 pounds of cocaine floating in the water.

Thanks to her background as the former Tampa police chief, Castor knew exactly what the package was.

Castor and her family lifted the finding onto the boat and brought it back to the dock near their vacation rental.

The 25 sacks of coke, which are worth a staggering $1.1 million, were seized by two U.S. Border Patrol agents.
