Swifties can finally access Taylor Swift’s music catalog on TikTok once again! Tay Tay’s huge music library had been missing from the social media app for 10 weeks due to a dispute about licensing and pay rates between TikTok and Universal Music Group, which distributes her music.
It's not confirmed if everything is back…but big hits like “You Belong With Me,” “Cruel Summer,” and “Is It Over Now? (Taylor’s Version),” were available on TikTok so users could include them in their videos. It’s not confirmed why Swift’s music is back on the app, while other artists aren’t, but it is suspected she may have reached her own deal with the company because she owns her own masters.
The move happens just ahead of Taylor's album "Tortured Poets Department" dropping on April 19th.
