It’s well known that Taylor Swift affected the U.S. economy last year and American University is now offering a course in “Swiftonomics.”

The course is the brainchild of econ students Megan Wysocki and Mackenzie Shultz, both of whom are Swifties.

Department chair Kara Reynolds will oversee the class as it explores the “Karma” singer’s business footprint, earnings from her near billion-dollar Eras Tour, her impact on the Ticketmaster monopoly debate, and more.

Students have to have already completed the course Principles of Microeconomics to take the course.

Online signups are open now.
