The band is back and touring in support of their new CD "North", and it's a 4D tour!
Matchbox Twenty is ready to kick off their latest tour with a touch of technology that is sure to engage its fans through a new dimension. The Florida-formed rock band has teamed up with one of California's premiere augmented reality and interface design companies, Daqri. Daqri is a leader in 4D AR campaigns. Their portfolio incudes companies like Cadillac, 20th. Century FOX, Liberty Media, among others. Matchbox Twenty and Daqri developed a smart phone application that engages audience and fans through its 4D interface and augmented reality features. Daqri partnered with Mobile Roadie in order to bring Matchbox Twenty's most ambitious project to date. Brian Mullins, Daqri's CEO and founder says the app "is an incredible way for fans to access stunning visual 4D content, interact with the band in the palm of their hands, view concert dates, buy tickets right from the experience and even get a chance to meet them in person."
